Our Cherry Blossom fun was held at bay this year by fevers and floods. The weather made being sick just a little bit easier...it rained so much that we couldn't have gone anywhere even if we wanted to. Just to give you an idea of how much it rained, here's a before and after picture of the creek in our backyard. It went from creek to raging river in a hurry. Thankfully everyone was feeling much better by the time the rain stopped on Sunday. We crammed as much as we possibly could into our last day of the festival. We visited the street fair on Mulberry, spent hours more at the fair at Central City Park, and went for a picnic and fireworks finale celebration at Wesleyan. We had a great time and can't wait for next year :)
Fishing for sharks with Daddy and Chief
Getting strapped in for the bungee jump...I still can't believe my baby did this.
He got his face painted like Spiderman...precious
Hanging with Lacey the pink poodle and a pink Chick Fil-A Cow at Wesleyan
Fireworks finale...
Even with headphones on, he cried. I will say we were pretty close though...so close that the debris from the fireworks was falling down on us. The video is sideways, but you get the idea.
One tired little boy, exhausted from a full day of Cherry Blossom fun. I mean, he fell asleep holding his carnival prize and while drinking his slushie...straw in mouth.
Now that's tired.
And here's what little Luke has been up to...

I love how y'all pack in as much fun as possible and make the most of every opportunity. That picture of Jackson asleep is priceless. I can't believe that Luke is around pushing his little car around. Time goes by too fast.

I so want to go to this with you! It looks like so much fun.
