Zoo trip

Brad has been on a much needed vacation for the past week and we have enjoyed spending time together as a family. One of the fun things we have done is to take Jackson to the zoo. He has been one time before, about a year ago. I think he was able to enjoy this trip much more now that he is older. If you know Jackson, you know he is like his Mommy and has a great love for animals. Here are some pictures from our very cold visit to the zoo.

Happy Easter!

I think we could now be a professional egg hunter after all of our hunts this Easter. By far, the best one was on Sunday at Teddy and Grandpa's house. I think Allie and Jackson both ended up with at least 2 baskets full of eggs. The weather was gorgeous, and we couldn't have had a better day shared with our wonderful family. We are truly blessed. I think the hardest thing about this post was only choosing a few select pictures to share...hope you enjoy!

Matching pants...how cute!

Egg Hunts Galore!

We have had 2 egg hunts in the last 2 days...one at church and one at school. I'm afraid Jackson is going to start thinking this is an every day event. We still have one more to go at Teddy's house on Sunday! Here are just a few of the pictures I took. Oh, and both hunts took place indoors because of rain/wetness so I didn't post many pictures of actual egg hunting :)
Don't we look cute in our raincoat?

What is Luke in for?

So as I get things ready for Luke's arrival, Jackson is taking a lot of interest in everything I'm doing. I'm still not quite sure what he thinks "Luke" is, but he has a pretty good grasp on which things around the house belong to Luke. Today, we discussed Luke's carseat...where it would go, how it works, etc. We even tried it out ourselves, and on a few of our friends :)

I can't believe my baby ever fit in this :(

I think Big Bird is being choked...

Let's hope Luke doesn't resemble Barney in any way, shape, or form

Here we go!

Well, I have finally decided that it's time to enter the world of blogging. I figure with number 2 on the way, this may be an easier way to keep people updated than e-mails and shutterfly. So here goes nothing...hope you enjoy :)
