Finally!

I am way past due for this post, but here it is anyway. There were so many pictures that I decided it would be easier to put them into slideshows.

The first is from all of the Christmas festivities. We had Brad's family over to our house for Christmas Eve dinner and presents and had a wonderful time. There were so many presents to open that Jackson got tired and Brad opened the rest :) After celebrating Santa's goodies Christmas morning with just our 4, we loaded the car and headed out for our annual Christmas tour of metro Atlanta. First it was to Teddy and Grandpa's for Christmas brunch where Jackson and Luke got new chairs. Then we were off to Acworth to Brad's Aunt Sue's where Jackson had a great time riding around with cousin Tate in his new gator. Our last stop was in Roswell at Great Grandma and Grandpa Lucas' and then back to Macon....whew! A very busy but fun day :)

As a trade off for getting a week's vacation at Christmas, Brad had to work the entire week surrounding New Years...so the kiddos and I headed to the beach with Teddy and Grandpa! Although this was Luke's 3rd trip to the beach house, it was really the first time he got to experience the beach, sand, water, etc. Thankfully we had a day of amazing 80 degree weather so both of the boys had a blast. Luke enjoyed feeling the sand, eating some, and even semi-crawled a little bit. Jackson had fun playing with his dump truck, burying his hands and feet in the sand, and building a feather castle with Grandpa.

We are finally back home and trying to put everything back in order (although I STILL have yet to unpack my suitcase). We are so blessed and can't wait to see what 2009 will bring :)
